Leading directly from your findings learned in our assessment courses, we’ll teach you how to begin working on your clients’ movement imbalances and muscle length and strength issues to help them exercise with reduced pain and ultimately greater function, endurance and strength. We’ll show you that when you have a shared goal of returning your clients to a general fitness program, logical, well paced exercise selection and creative repetition to build muscular endurance with the right movement patterns is the key to your clients’ success.
In this course you will learn how to:
• Select appropriate exercises for the neck, trunk and upper extremity based on a thorough clinical assessment;
• Develop exercise programs related to clinical findings
• Progress a therapeutic exercise program to meet clinical objectives and client expectations
• Modify exercises to accommodate clients’ limitations
• Use a variety of equipment to appropriately challenge the muscle groups
First Line will provide course notes for both the lecture and practical components. By the end of the course, you will have a large tool box from which to choose fun, challenging and safe exercises to help your clients reach their functional, fitness and sporting goals.
